South Peace Animal Hospital opened in October of 1998. From the beginning it has been our goal to provide compassionate, comprehensive and up to date care for pets. Our philosophy is one of treating our clients and patients with respect and honesty. We believe in working with our clients to provide the best veterinary care possible, whether in our hands or through referral to specialists if needed.
Our hospital is accredited by the The College of Veterinarians of B.C. our licensing organization. The hospital is regularly inspected and meets all the standards which include record keeping, sterile technique, patient housing, anaesthesia monitoring, surgical recovery, pharmacy controls, library, radiology and house keeping.
We are proud to have been accredited since 1997 by the American Animal Hospital Association, an association of veterinarians dedicated to providing high quality medicine and surgery for their patients. The association also promotes ongoing improvement of the standards of care. AAHA fosters the belief, a belief we share strongly, that informed and educated clients are an integral part of the health care team for patients. The standards assessed include surgery, anaesthesia, radiology, pain management, pharmacy, dentistry, safety regulations, and codes of ethics. medical library, medical records, facility maintenance, house keeping and level of continuing education.
