Pawsitive Visits

At South Peace Animal Hospital we strive to help take the “Pet” out of Petrified. Here are a few tips to help make that happen:

  • Bring your pet to it’s appointment hungry – our treats will work better as distractions.
  • Stop by anytime with your pet for a quick visit and a yummy treat for some positive reinforcement – mid morning is usually the best time of day to do that. This way they won’t always associate coming to the office with a vaccination or temperature taking.
  • To ensure your pet’s travel kennel is a positive space for them, keep it out all the time with the door open. Put a comfy bed and a toy or chew treat in there for them to spend some time in the kennel without them having to go somewhere in the kennel.
